The New York Unit invites you to attend a lecture on Cinnamon, a popular spice the world over with a rich history not widely known. Marjorie Shaffer, recently returned from travels and research throughout Southeast Asia in connection with her book about Cinnamon, will share the colorful history of cinnamon stretching from the days of the Pharaohs to modern times. Marjorie will have samples to taste from Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and other parts of the world.

The lecture will be held in the ballroom at the Homestead. Our unit will have holiday shopping and will also host refreshments of cinnamon themed desserts and hot cinder. herbscocietyny@gmail.com
