The Pungency of Pepper: From Peppercorns to Capsicums
Please join us for the Long Island Unit's 28th annual herb symposium at the Old Field Club in East Setauket, NY. NY based author Marjorie Shaffer and HSA honorary president Susan Belsinger will share all about these piquant plants with similar tastes yet very different histories and uses. Harvest and holiday marketplace, educational displays, raffle and herbal lunch will be served. Our Unit's herbal desserts including some made with chile recipes supplied by Susan Belsinger will be featured.
