Maria Zampini, a fourth-generation nursery entrepreneur, will present "Gardening Trends: Foodies and Landscapers Unite!" at our unit's 37th annual herbal spring luncheon on April 10th.

Maria recalls putting fertilizer pills in pots at the age of seven, and today she owns her own horticultural marketing firm, UpShoot, LLC, where she researches plant trends and developes and introduces new plants to the horticultral market. She co-wrote "Garden-Pedia: An A-to-Z Guide to Gardening Terms", which earned the Educational Materials Outstanding Book Award in 2016.

Zehnder's Chef David Tenney has personally selected a spring menu for this event.
