As part of the Garden Conservancy's Open Days program: Fond of all things with a past, Glenn Hillman went one-step further than just good taste when designing his herb garden—he found herbs that are visually tantalizing. Working with variegated versions and weaving together colors, textures, and other attributes, Glenn’s garden is gorgeous—as well as being hard working. Tovah Martin, author of the newly published The Garden in Every Sense and Season, will lead you through the garden, engaging all your senses for the full experience. Not only will she share specifics about using herbs for all their many attributes, she’ll also delve into herb garden design from ancient to current and futuristic. Herbs have come a long way.
Glenn Hillman's garden is open to the public through Open Days on this date from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Garden admission is $7 per person and children 12 & under are free. There is no additional fee for this program. Call 1(888) 842-2442 or email opendays@gardenconservancy.org with questions.
