Linda's talk will focus on our society, our high levels of stress, need for more sleep, non-narcotic treatment of pain and digestive support. Hops are a digestive bitter, it promotes sleep and is antibacterial.

"All About Lavender​"
Wendy and Troy Jochems own and operate Hope Hill Lavender Farm located in Schuylkill County. Wendy will be speaking on how they harvest and maintain their lavender fields. On their farm, they propagate their own plants. She will discuss some of the different cultivars they are growing currently. She will be also sharing the look of several of these cultivars in dry material bouquets and sachets. So see and smell what they look like. She and her husband distill for lavender essential oil. The artisan lavender oil is used to produce their soaps, lotions, candles and other high quality natural products. She will also speak on harvesting lavender for dried material which will touch on the culinary use of lavender. This is a product they also produce on their farm. So, see what the look, smell and taste of lavender is all about at Hope Hill.​
