Are you interested in really fine food? Do you enjoy elegant events but hardly have an opportunity to attend them? Do you want to know what herbs have to do with our diets and our health? Are you interested in where our food comes from? Where delicious gourmet meals and elegant drinks begin?

You can find out on Saturday, February 3 at the very elegant Perfect Pollinator Luncheon, created by the Baton Rouge Herb Society and held at the Orangerie at the Burden Center, 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge.

Begin with an Orange-Cranberry champagne cocktail and mingle with the other guests in the beautiful Orangerie. Watch while a celebrity bartender mixes her specialties, and taste them. Non-alcoholic cocktails will also be available. Experts on pollinators and their value to us will be guests and can answer your questions.

Lunch will include gourmet foods like Turmeric and Honey-Glazed chicken, Avocado Pasta, Celebration Salad, and the famous Butterfly Cake from Herbs by Sarah.

Wear a hat and gloves if you wish! Bring your family and friends!
