Event Calendar

The New York Unit invites you to our Spring meeting at the historic John Jay Homestead in Katonah, New York. Our speaker is Deirdre Larkin, horticulturist and plant historian with a special interest in period gardens and medicinal herbs. Deirdre retired from the Metropolitan Museum of Art after a twenty-year association with The Cloisters Museum & Gardens, home to an extensive collection of medieval plants. An herbal lunch will be served and there will be a raffle. Herbal items and herb-related kitchen and garden products will be available for sale. Registration begins at 10:00am. The program is open to all HSA members and the general public. A donation of $20 to support the Herb Garden maintained by our unit is suggested.
