Thursday
8:00 AM Optional Tour to Houmas House and Gardens including The River Road Museum. A limited number of participants will depart the hotel at 8:30 AM and arrive at Houmas House by 9:00 AM where they will be divided into small groups. Led by trained docents, we will enjoy tours of the plantation house and outbuildings, wander extraordinary gardens, learn about life along the Mississippi when sugar was king, and gather for some southern hospitality.
