Rocky Mountain Unit
The Rocky Mountain Unit of the Herb Society of America was organized in 1996 from the inspiration of those who recognized the need of an herb organization in the Denver area. The herb expertise of the members ranges from beginner to advanced and members share diverse interests.
The Unit meets the third Saturday of each month except December. We offer programs on a variety of herbal subjects such as culinary, gardening, crafting, personal care and medicinal. Members also enjoy field trips, tea parties and potlucks. For those members who wish to explore all aspects of herbs more in-depth, monthly online meetings of the Herb Study Group are available. Wild Mountain Thymes, our informative and delightful newsletter, is available to members via e-mail. We also maintain a beautiful herb garden at The Hudson Gardens, which is open to the public year-round.
