Our mission is dedicated to promoting the knowledge, use and delight of herbs through educational programs, research and sharing the experience of our members with the community. As part of that mission we maintain the herb gardens at Cranbrook House and Gardens in Bloomfield Hills, MI. We design the layout, purchase and plant the plants, and then maintain the garden throughout the summer. We established the gardens in 1970 and have been responsible for the garden maintenance for the past 43 years. The house and gardens are open for visitors May through October.
