Cornell Mann Library - The Core Historical Literature of Agriculture
Provides the full text of 1,834 books and six journals published between 1800 and the late 1900s. Browsable by author, title, and decade. Advanced search option also available.

EBHL - The European Botanical and Horticultural Libraries Group

The European equivalent of CBHL, this site includes links to libraries, museums and related institutions in twenty-three countries. Also includes a listing of publishers.

Includes copyright information, the American Memory Project and the LC online catalog.

Lloyd Library and Museum
Collection focuses on botany, pharmacy, pharmacognosy, herbal and alternative medicines, natural products, eclectics, sectarian medicine and horticulture. Includes link to online catalog.

National Agricultural Library

Online Exhibits

The Art of Botanical Illustration - University of Delaware Library Special Collections
Provides an overview of the history of botanical illustration, including herbals, travel and exploration, scientific botany, women artists, seed catalogs and modern botanicals. Includes images and/or background information for over fifty works. 

Medicinal Spices Exhibit - UCLA Biomedical Library: History & Special Collections
Includes history of the spice trade, essays on spice sources and uses throughout history, information on culinary herbs, and descriptive profiles of 29 spices accompanied by digitized images from historical text.

Rare Books from the MBG Library

Includes digitized versions of nine works from the Missouri Botanical Garden Library collection, including Köhler's Medizinal-Pflanzen, Köhler's 1887 guide to medicinal plants. Images are indexed by scientific name. Provides links to additional information on plants depicted in images.
